The champions at the US National Championships held in Indiana beat out the competition to become the new US National reigning champions. They will take these titles to the 2013 World Championships tournament in August.

Gavin Michaels is the new Video Game Master Division champion. His team of Volcarona, Ludicolo, Landorus and Tyranitar beat out the competition to become the new National Champion's team.

Paul Chua is the Video Game Senior Division champion. His team consisted of Scrafty and a Politoed as well as other unnamed Pokémon. Chua made it to the top-four last year and improved himself to become the champion this year.

Beau Berg is the Video Game Junior Division champion. He played a Sandstorm team consisting of Tyranitar, Garchomp, Zapdos, Cresselia, Hitmontop, and Scizor. This was Berg's last year as a Junior Division competitor.

Edmund Kuras is the new TCG Masters Division champion. His deck which focused on the "Accelgor Deck and Cover" strategy beat out the competition.

Calvin Connor is the TCG Senior Division Champion. He used what appeared to be a popular Team Plasma focused deck. This was his first year in the Senior Division bracket.

Carson St. Denis is the TCG Junior Division Champion. She attributed her success to the power of Lugia-EX, using it to beat the favored Darkrai-EX which is the focus of several meta-decks.

All six of these competitors are not only invited to compete in Vancouver, BC at the World Championship tournament but their travel is also paid for because of their US National Champion status.
