Template:Img With information on the Gold and Silver remakes, HeartGold and SoulSilver, flowing out, Nintendo has trademarked the games' titles. The trademarks were registered with the United States Patent and Trademark Office on May 7, a day before Yahoo! Japan revealed the remakes.

An interesting excerpt from one of the listings is:

"Web based messaging services for the exchange of text messages, newsletters, pictures, news, data and videos; information and data transmission via electronic communications networks; electronic exchange of news, hypertext documents, streaming video, web hyperlinks, music stored in databases accessible via telecommunication networks and data stored in databases accessible via telecommunication networks"
