Connecting to other players via {{bp|Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection|Wi-Fi}} will also appear as similar to {{game|Platinum}}. The trailer also shows the battle sprite of the {{bp|Gym Leader}} {{bp|Jasmine|Mikan}}. Similar to the ones in Platinum, it is animated. The {{bp|Gym}} in {{bp|Violet City|Kikyō City}} is also seen. It is more elevated, somewhat similar to {{bp|Canalave Gym|Mio Gym}}.

Two trailers for the upcoming Pokémon HeartGold and SoulSilver recently revealed few new details on the games.

The first trailer confirms the existence of the Wi-Fi Plaza in the games. Connecting to other players via Wi-Fi will also appear as similar to Pokémon Platinum.
