To commemorate the movie, Mighty Media will also be holding special events featuring special guests to be announced in the near future. Special postcards, Tretta tiles, and gift cards featuring Ash's Pikachu will also be given away during the event.

Mighty Media has revealed that Pokémon the Movie: I Choose You! (《劇場版 精靈寶可夢 就決定是你了!》) will be released in Taiwan on November 17, 2017. The showings will feature the movie in both Japanese and Mandarin dubs, a first in the history of the series.
