A patch for Pokémon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire has been released that bring the game up to Version 1.1. This patch can be download from the Nintendo 3DS eShop. This patch is required for online communication.

The patch notes only mention non-specific bug fixes; it has not yet been determined what bugs this patch fixes.

There are separate patches for Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire; the Omega Ruby patch cannot be used to update Alpha Sapphire, and vice versa.
