Nintendo officially announced the English-language version of Pokémon Platinum today with a press release announcing several other games set for a 2009 release. The announcement confirmed the March 22 release date previously leaked by Circuit City.
The press release confirmed the names Distortion World, Wi-Fi Plaza, Global Terminal, Vs. Recorder and Giratina's Origin Forme. No additional information was provided by the release.
Later in the day, Pokemon.com acknowledged the release with a new front page image and a few screen shots from the game.
