A new software update for Pokémon Ultra Sun and Pokémon Ultra Moon is now available for download which brings the game up to version 1.2.
As a result of the release of this patch, Curse, String Shot, Forest's Curse and Power Trick may now be used in the Video Game Championships once again. The moves were temporarily banned due a bug that was causing game crashes in link battles that was believed to be related to these moves.
An Internet connection is required to download this update. When opening the game after downloading the update, it will be applied to the game. After downloading the update, any Battle Videos a player has saved up until now cannot be played or made public.
