Nintendo of Europe is sponsoring a series of event-only Regigigas distributions in the Netherlands and Spain. Both countries' download periods will end Aug. 30.

In the Netherlands, Regigigas will be distributed Aug. 29-30 during the Pokémon Day 2009 event at Walibi World in Biddinghuizen.

Spain will get two more distributions, the first from Aug. 15-16 in Torredembarra, Tarragona, and the second from Aug. 29-30 in Sitges, near Barcelona.

The distributions in Spain began July 11-12 in Barbate, Cádiz. Other downloads were offered July 18-19, July 25-26 and Aug. 1-2 in Punta Umbria, Huelva, Torrox, Málaga and A Coruña, respectively.

Regigigas will be available to players of Pokémon Diamond, Pearl and Platinum. The level 100 event Pokémon will be distributed in a Cherish Ball while holding the Custap Berry. It will know the moves Iron Head, Rock Slide, Icy Wind and Crush Grip. Once it is in the player's party in Platinum, the Regigigas will allow the player to enter the Rock Peak, Iceberg and Iron Ruins, where a level 30 Regirock, Regice and Registeel will be available, respectively.

These are not the first times Regigigas has been distributed in European countries. It was available during the Pokémon Day 2009 event in Italy July 18-19, and players can obtain it in the United Kingdom from July 25 to Sept. 7.

No distribution dates for other European countries have been announced.
