Spooky Cup competition logo

The Spooky Cup Wi-Fi competition has been announced. Participants who get at least three wins or losses will receive 10 Rare Candies. Players may register between Midnight UTC on Oct. 15 and 11:59 p.m. UTC on Oct. 22. The tournament will run from Midnight UTC on Oct. 23 until 11:59 p.m. UTC on Oct. 25. 50,000 spots will be available on a first-come, first-serve basis. Players born in 2001 or later will be in the Junior/Senior Division. Players born in 2000 or earlier will be in the Master Division. Junior/Senior Division players may only battle between 6 a.m. and 11 p.m. local time.

Rankings will be announced some time in November. Participants may only use Pokémon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire for this tournament. Pokémon used in this tournament may not use Mega Stones. Pokémon transferred from the Pokémon Black and White and Pokémon Black 2 and White 2 games cannot be used.

4-6 Pokémon must be registered in the Battle Box on the PC. All Pokémon will be automatically set to level 50 for the competition. Four of the six Pokémon will be used per battle. Each battle will last a maximum of 20 minutes. Players will have 90 seconds to choose their 4 Pokémon for battle. There will be 60 seconds for players to decide what move to use or to switch to another Pokémon. Participants can battle 15 times per day for a maximum of 45 battles. The Spooky Cup is a Double Battles tournament.

Only the following Pokémon may be used for this competition. These Pokémon are considered scariest to the people who chose them for the rules. -
