The Speed Gamers will begin their third Pokémon marathon March 11th at 6PM Central, raising money for the ALS Association (Lou Gehrig's disease). The Texas-based group will attempt to catch all 251 Pokémon available in the first two generations within 72 hours.

The Speed Gamers have been streaming video game marathons for over two years to raise money for various charities. In total they have raised over $240,000 and played 21 marathons. The group has made multiple news appearances.

During the marathon, viewers have the chance to win multiple prizes, some of which are donated from members of the TSG community. Such prizes usually include rare promotional goodies no longer available for purchase.
