USAopoly recently revealed at the 2014 American International Toy Fair that two new Nintendo Monopoly products would be hitting high-store shelves this September. Monopoly: The Legend of Zelda and Monopoly: Pokémon will be priced at $45.00 dollars each, with the latter franchise featuring the original Kanto area.
Satoru Iwata announced that Nintendo would begin to expand the character licensing agreements into new fields during an investors meeting that took place in January. Pokémon-themed Monopoly games have been released in the past, one in 1999 and the other in 2001, but the company has now been working to assume a wider position in the board game industry.
