Japanese players now have new options to obtain the Pokémon Omega Ruby and Pokémon Alpha Sapphire Special Demo Version download code. It is available in a variety of methods, including online, in magazines and from specific retailers.
In the monthly CoroCoro Comic November Issue, released Oct. 15, and the Ciao December Issue, released Nov. 1, download codes were given away during their Pokémon Scrap Omega Ruby/Alpha Sapphire "Receive Mythical Pokemon" Campaign. The giveaway will end when all the codes have run out.
Starting Nov. 1 on Amazon, codes will be distributed. The download codes are limited, and the distribution may end early if supplies runs out.
Starting Nov. 8 in Pokémon Center stores, leaflets containing the code will be distributed in-store. The giveaway will end when the leaflets run out.
Starting Nov. 8 in Toys 'R' Us, codes can be obtained at the pick up counter. Only the first 50,000 customers will be able to obtain the codes. Codes are not available at Express Stores or Babies 'R' Us stores.
On Nov. 15-16 Toys 'R' Us stores nationwide will be holding Demo Experience Days from 11 a.m. - 6 p.m. Codes will be distributed at the event. Only one demo code will be allowed per person. The first 50,000 attendees will receive codes. Codes are not available at Express Stores or Babies 'R' Us stores. As a special bonus, during the Demo Experience Days, special staff members will be available to guide players through the downloading procedure, so attendees are encouraged to bring their 3DS units.
Codes will be distributed in the Weekly Famitsu Issue released Nov. 13 and Nov. 22.
Only one demo code may be used per 3DS console.
