New rules for the Pokémon Video Game Championships have been published.
Four moves are now prohibited from use in the Video Game Championships until the release of version 1.2 of Pokémon Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon. The Pokémon Company International has identified these moves as causing a bug that results in games disconnecting. The banned moves are as follows:
Additionally, Championship Series events not operated with or by The Pokémon Company International must be conducted through Festival Plaza until further notice.
