In 2018, Pokémon Day returns on February, 27th. The celebrations announced are as follows:
- New Snapchat Lenses
For a limited time, there are new Snapchat Lenses featuring the original starter Pokémon, Bulbasaur, Charmander, and Squirtle from the Kanto region.
- Pokémon Center
Pokémon Centers will be releasing a brand new line of larger scale figurines. Charizard is featured as the first XD figurines, and the figurine shows Charizard use Blast Burn.
The Pokémon Center is joining in on the Legendary Year by featuring Legendary Pokémon Pins. Fans can order the new Dialga and Palkia pins, with a set of pins being released each month through till November while supplies last. It can be shipped to US addresses.
