A temporary Pokémon Center will be located at the Central Japan International Airport. In addition to selling original Pokémon merchandise, the store will also host bingo.
The store will be located on the fourth floor of the airport, and it will sell original merchandise on Dec. 26, Dec. 27, and Jan. 5. Bingo games will take place from Jan. 1-3. Four bingo games will be played each day from 11:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and 2:00 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. and will cost ¥500 to play.
This is not the first time Pokémon has hosted an event in an airport. Pikachu knowing Fly were given away at the All Nippon Airways (ANA) terminal at the Tokyo International Airport earlier this year. ANA has been a constant sponsor of Pokémon events, hosting (among other things) a Darkrai distribution in 2010-2011, an earlier Flying Pikachu distribution in 2004, and TCG distributions in 2000.
