With information on the Gold and Silver remakes, HeartGold and SoulSilver, flowing out, Nintendo has trademarked the games' titles. The trademarks were registered with the United States Patent and Trademark Office on May 7, a day before Yahoo! Japan revealed the remakes.
An interesting excerpt from one of the listings is:
