Both the Japanese and English official sites have announced the new Legendaries for the upcoming Black and White Versions: Reshiram (レシラム) and Zekrom (ゼクロム). The former will be featured in Black Version, while the latter will be in White. According to the Japanese site, the two Pokémon have a strong connection to the history of Isshu and are key to the games' story. The two Pokémon will be featured on the covers of their respective games.

The names of the two Pokémon are confirmed to be the international names.

Additionally, Black and White have been confirmed for a spring 2011 release date in North America, as announced by a press release on Nintendo of America's official website.
