The Pokémon Global Link is one of the extra features that comes with Pokémon Black and White. However, it has not yet been accessible to players of English and international copies—and there will be further delays.

Originally scheduled to launch around a month after the games' launch on March 30, 2011, the Global Link launch has been pushed back further. This is a result of the magnitude 9.0 earthquake in Japan and the resultant need to conserve energy resources. When a new launch date is determined, it will be published on the Global Link web site and through Bulbanews.

The Global Link faced similar delays and downtime when Black and White launched in Japan late last year. This was due to overload from the large amount of players wishing to use the feature.
