An announcement on the official Pokémon site claiming that the Global Link would launch on April 13 has been removed shortly after being posted, leaving the actual launch date unconfirmed.

The Global Link was previously scheduled to launch on March 30, but this date was put back following the Sendai earthquake that devastated parts of northern Japan.
