ANA has been a constant sponsor of Pokémon events, also hosting a {{p|Darkrai}} {{bp|List of Japanese Nintendo event Pokémon in 2010#All Nippon Airways Darkrai|distribution}} late last year until earlier this year, and even another distribution of {{bp|List of Nintendo event Pokémon in 2004#ANA Pikachu|Pikachu that know Fly}} all the way back in 2004. |

A temporary Pokémon Center will be located at the Central Japan International Airport, reports The Pokémon Company. In addition to selling original Pokémon merchandise, bingo games will also be hosted.
The store will be located on the fourth floor of the airport, and it will sell original merchandise on Dec. 26, Dec. 27, and Jan. 5. Bingo games will take place from Jan. 1 to 4; four bingo games will be played each day and will cost ¥500 to play.
This is not the first time Pokémon has hosted an event in an airport. Pikachu knowing Fly were given away at the All Nippon Airways (ANA) terminal at the Tokyo International Airport earlier this year.
