Nintendo America's Twitter account has announced that the Pokémon Omega Ruby and Pokémon Alpha Sapphire Special Demo Version is now available on the North American Nintendo 3DS eShop for free as a public download.
The demo was previously made available worldwide throughout October and November via serial codes distributed through online promotions and local events. The demo allows the player to transfer different items to Pokémon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire as well as a Glalie (Steelix in the Japanese version) holding its respective Mega Stone through Pokémon Link.
Availability as a free public download outside of North America has yet to be announced.
