TCG, VG Champions crowned at Worlds 2010

Japan, the birthplace of the Pokemon games, dominated the 2010 Pokemon World Trading Card Game and Video Game Championships on the Big Island of Hawaii at the Hilton Waikoloa Village Resort Hotel.
TCG Championships
In the best-of-three match finals of the Trading Card Game World Championships, in the Juniors Division, Last Chance Qualifier Yuka Furusawa from Japan defeated American Juan Pablos Arenas in the championship match in two straight games. The Seniors Division final saw Canadian National Champion Jacob Lesage defeat an American Last Chance Qualifier, Mychael Bryan 2-1. Another Japanese player, Yuta Komatsuda defeated American Michael Pramawat to win the Masters Division championship 2-1.

Video Game finals
In the Video Game finals, the Junior Division was an all-Japan affair, with Shoto Yamamoto defeating Santa Ito and American Ray Rizzo winning the Senior Division championship over Japan's Yasuki Tochigo. We congratulate all the participants and champions for their hard work and effort to make the World Championships.
