Pokémon Center Tokyo moving and reopening as Mega Tokyo

The Pokémon Center Tokyo is relocating to the second floor of alpa in Sunshine City, Ikebukuro, Tokyo and will reopen as Pokémon Center Mega Tokyo. To celebrate this, promotional merchandise and Pokémon distributions will be available.
The current Pokémon Center Tokyo will close on Dec. 7, 2014. The Pokémon Center Mega Tokyo will open at 10 am on Dec. 12, 2014. Its opening hours are 10 am to 8 pm, with hours extended to 9 pm until Dec. 25, 2014. The store's mascots are now Pikachu and Mega Charizard Y.
Opening ceremony
The store's opening ceremony will be held on Dec. 11, 2014. Doors open at 4 pm, with the ceremony held at 5 pm, and the store closing at 6:30 pm. An exclusive commemorative key holder will also be available. Visitors can also purchase stock at this ceremony.
100 Famitsu readers will be selected to receive three tickets each to the opening (meaning 300 people will receive tickets this way). The deadline for entries to the Famitsu competition is Dec. 27, 2014.
150 Pokémon Daisuke Club members will be selected to receive three tickets each to the opening (meaning 450 people will receive tickets this way).
Pokémon distribution
To promote the opening of the Pokémon Center Mega Tokyo, a Shiny Charizard holding a Charizardite Y as well as a Shiny Pikachu will be distributed at Pokémon Center stores across Japan from Dec. 12, 2014 to Jan. 16, 2015. These Pokémon are available for Pokémon X and Y as well as Pokémon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire. These Pokémon will also be available at the Pokémon Center Mega Tokyo opening ceremony, held on Dec. 11, 2014.
The Pokémon will be distributed during alternating hours.

Merchandise
From Oct. 15 to Dec. 7, 2014, customers of the Pokémon Center Tokyo will receive a Mega Charizard Y costumed Pikachu sticker with their purchase, and a Mega Charizard Y costumed Pikachu folder as well if they spend more than ¥3000.
To promote the opening of the Pokémon Center Mega Tokyo, from Dec. 12, 2014 to Jan. 16, 2015, Pokémon Center stores across Japan will give away an exclusive Mega Tokyo Pikachu Pokémon Trading Card Game card at checkouts with a purchase (while stocks last). Also during this period, stores will use bags themed around the Pokémon Center Mega Tokyo featuring Mega Charizard Y and a Pikachu in a Mega Charizard Y costume (among other details).
Various new merchandise will be available at all Pokémon Center stores to promote the opening of the Pokémon Center Mega Tokyo. Themed merchandise, featuring the store's mascots Pikachu and Mega Charizard Y, will be available at Pokémon Center stores across Japan from Dec. 12, 2014 onward, such as a plush Pikachu dressed as Mega Charizard Y.
To celebrate the opening of the Pokémon Center Mega Tokyo, buying certain items from Dec. 12, 2014 to January 16, 2015 will let customers enter a raffle called Mega Chance at Pokémon Centers.
The grand prize is the Kalos Region Pokémon Mega Stone Complete Set, a set containing the 28 Kalos Mega Stones, to be used with the Pokémon Mega Ring toy. The first prize is a set of two Commemorative Pokémon Center Mega Tokyo Opening tumblers. The second prize is the Diancite Mega Stone toy.

From Dec. 12 to 14, 2014, a person dressed as the Mega Charizard Y costumed Pikachu will make appearances at the Pokémon Center store at 12 pm and 4 pm. It will appear for 15 minutes at a time.
