The Pokémon Company International has announced that this year's North American International Championships and World Championships tournaments will be held at the Greater Columbus Convention Center in Columbus, Ohio, and the Music City Center in Nashville, Tennessee. The International Championships will be held from July 6 to 8, while the World Championships will be held in Nashville from Aug. 24 to 26.
The North American International Championships have no residency restrictions and will allow both TCG and VGC players their final chances to earn enough Championship Points to qualify for an invitation to the World Championships, whose winners will receive a share of the US$500,000 prize pool.
