Pokémon GO Summer Tour 2018

Niantic has announced additional details for the Pokémon GO Summer Tour 2018 during this summer's previously announced live events. During the weekends of these events, Professor Willow's Global Challenge will task players with completing Field Research tasks. If a sufficient number of tasks are completed, all players will receive a reward.

The Pokémon GO Safari Zone event in Dortmund, Germany will see an increase in the appearance of Corsola and Unown. All players will have an increased chance of finding Roselia between June 30 and July 1, including the appearance of Shiny Roselia.

During Pokémon GO Fest 2018, all players will still see increased spawn rates of Feebas and Trapinch. There will also be a chance to catch Plusle and Minun for bonus Stardust and a chance at a Shiny version of each. On top of that, the Alola Forms of Geodude and Diglett will be available for the first time.
