Nintendo of Australia has just revealed the released date for Pokémon HeartGold and SoulSilver in Australia. The games will be released on March 25, packaged together with the Pokéwalker. It is currently unknown is pre-ordering these games will allow fans to also get Ho-Oh and Lugia figures, which were available in Japan and will be available in North America.

HeartGold and SoulSilver, remakes of the Generation II games Pokémon Gold and Silver, will take players back to the Johto region. Starting in New Bark Town, players will choose between Chikorita, Cyndaquil, and Totodile before embarking on their journey. The games bring back features unique to Gold and Silver, as well as the game Pokémon Crystal, such as the use of the PokéGear and Apricorns. They also introduce things unavailable in the original games, like the Safari Zone and the Pokéthlon.

The original Japanese versions of HeartGold and SoulSilver were originally released last Sept. 12, 2009. The South Korean, North American, and European versions will be released on Feb. 4, March 14, and March 26, respectively.
