The June Coro Coro was leaked. It showed the Hoenn starter Mega Evolutions. Mega {{p|Sceptile}} is a Grass/Dragon type with the ability {{a|Lightningrod}}. Mega {{p|Swampert}} has the ability {{a|Swift Swim}} and a bulky appearance. Mega {{p|Blaziken}} was showcased with not much changes from {{bp|Pokémon X and Y}}.

The June Coro Coro was leaked. It showed the Hoenn starter Mega Evolutions. Mega Sceptile is a Grass/Dragon type with the ability Lightningrod. Mega Swampert has the ability Swift Swim and a bulky appearance. Mega Blaziken was showcased with not much changes from Pokémon X and Y.

The upcoming Diancie was revealed to have a Mega Evolution.

Treecko, Torchic and Mudkip has new artwork revealed.

Steven Stone was revealed to return and apparently has a Mega Charizard X.

Brendan and May return as the Player characters, with redesigns that merge the Emerald outfit with the original and a few tweaks.

Team Magma returns to Omega Ruby and Team Aqua comes to Alpha Sapphire. Their members have a drastic redesign.

Groudon and Kyogre's new forms were revealed as Prehistoric Groudon and Prehistoric Kyogre. They go through a process called Ancient Devolution.
