Japan's fifth BW era TCG expansion has been announced. The set, much like the third Black & White set: Psycho Drive/Hail Blizzard, will be split into two subsets, named Dragon Blade and Dragon Blast, that, as the names suggest, will feature the new Dragon TCG type. The sets will release Mar. 16, and will contain fifty cards plus secret rares each. The two subsets will be accompanied by two half decks that feature Hydreigon and Garchomp. Both will contain thirty cards each, and can be bought for ¥780. The promotional text confirms Dragon type Pokémon-EX cards.

April will also be featuring its fair share of TCG products in Japan. Two currently unnamed Battle Strength Decks will be releasing on the 20th for ¥780. In addition to the Battle Strength Decks, a new "Beginning Set" will be released the same day. The promotional text for the Beginning Set says it will be an "All Region Pokédex Version," and "Cards and Designs renewal! Let's start the PTCG from here!"
