Link to this article has reported new information about Pokémon Platinum. The site revealed new names for Rotom's alternate form, Frontier Brains, Battle Frontier Facilities, and more.

Some of Rotom's alternate forms are renamed. Cut Form is now known as Mow Form, and Spin Form as Fan Form. The other forms keeps the same name as their U.S. name.

Platinum Orb, the item used to keep Giratina in Origin Forme outside the Distortion World, is now called Griseous Orb.

Some of the Sinnoh Battle Frontier Facilities have been renamed. Battle Hall is the new name for Battle Stage, and Battle Roulette is now called Battle Arcade. Other Facilities keep the same name in the English version. Sinnoh's Frontier Brains' U.S. name are revealed. Factory Head Neijiki is now known as Factory Head Thorton and Stage Madonna Kate as Hall Matron Argenta. Castle Butler Kokuran is has been renamed Castle Valet Darach, and Cattleya is now named Lady Caitlin.

Match Place, where players can battle Gym Leaders and the five tag partners earlier in the game, is now known as Battleground.
