The first three {{bp|Pokémon movies}} of the {{bp|Pokémon anime}} have undergone a remastering for a Blu-ray disc release that is set for a release date of February 9, 2016 in {{wp|Blu-ray#Region codes|Region A}}.
For the first time ever in {{wp|Blu-ray#Region codes|Region A}}, {{wp|Viz Media}}, in partnership with {{wp|Warner Home Video}}, will release the English dubs of the first three {{bp|Pokémon movies}} on Blu-ray disc in a limited edition triple feature Steelbook pack.


{{wp|Viz Media}} will release the set on behalf of {{wp|Warner Home Video}}, whose parent company {{wp|Warner Bros.}} holds exclusive rights to the English dubs of the first three movies outside Japan.
The set is scheduled for release on February 9, 2016, according to Amazon.com and Blu-ray.com.


The limited edition Steelbook set will include a lossy 2.0 Stereo track of the {{wp|4Kids Entertainment}} dub of the movies, presented in 16:9 widescreen. The set reportedly excludes the special features from the original DVD releases of the movies from Warner Home Video. It is unknown whether or not the {{bp|Pikachu short}}s from all three of the movies will be retained in the set.

The set reportedly excludes the special features from the original DVD releases of the movies from Warner Home Video. It is unknown whether or not the Pikachu shorts from all three of the movies will be retained in the set.

The set is available to pre-order on Amazon.com as of December 16th.
