Black and White fans hoping to use the new Pokémon Global Link website will be disappointed to hear that it will not be back up and running in the next few days.

Shortly after the games' release on September 19, the Global Link website was disconnected to allow better traffic control. It was originally stated that the site would be active again on September 29. However, a new notice has been issued on the front page of the website that states the site will not be active until October 4. This means that the Global Link site will be down for an additional five days.

The Global Link is a new feature in the Pokémon world that is only usable with Pokémon Black and White. It is similar in scope to the Global Trade Station of Generation IV games, but has a wider range of uses including the Dream World.
