Pokémon.com has reported that {{p|Jirachi}} will be given out by American GameStop stores from Feb. 27 to March 13.

The level 5 Jirachi will be distributed in a Cherish Ball. It will also hold a {{bp|Liechi Berry}} and a Classic Ribbon. It will come with the moves {{m4|Wish|Confusion|Rest|Draco Meteor}}, the last of which is a move it cannot learn normally. After obtaining it from {{game2|Diamond|Pearl|Platinum}}, players may send it to the upcoming {{pkmn|games}} {{game|HeartGold and SoulSilver|s}}. Doing so will allow them to to send it to their {{bp|Pokéwalker}} in order to unlock {{bp|Edge of the Night's Sky (Pokéwalker area)|Night Sky's Edge}}.
 
Pokémon Official site have revealed a new event. The event is for the distribution of Jirachi GameStop! and it will be available for Pokémon Diamond, Pearl and Platinum. This distribution event will start on February 27, 2010 and it will end on March 13, 2010.
Jirachi will be a level 5 Pokémon and it holds a Liechi Berry. It knows Wish, Confusion, Rest and Draco Meteor.
It can also be traded into the upcoming english game versions of Pokémon HeartGold & Pokémon SoulSilver due to which a new special route will be unlocked inside the Pokéwalker called Night Sky's.


This Jirachi was first distributed in Japan in 2009, where it could be obtained by any player of the Japanese versions of Diamond, Pearl and Platinum via {{bp|Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection}}. South Korea followed later on during their distribution during the end of January. It was not distributed via Wi-Fi, similar to the American distribution.
