The June 2013 International Challenge has been announced. Ganlon, Petaya, and Apicot Berries are available to participants. Participants must complete five or more battles to be able to obtain these berries.

Players may register from June 14 until June 24. 50,000 spots are available for this Wi-Fi tournament. 10,000 spots are available for Junior division players, 10,000 spots are available for Senior division players and 30,000 spots are available for Master Division players. Players born in 2002 or later will be in the Junior Division. Players born in 1998-2001 will be in the Senior Division. Players born in 1997 or earlier will be in the Masters Division. The tournament will run from June 21 until June 24. Rankings will be revealed July 2.

The tournament is in Double Battles format. Players may not use Mew, Mewtwo, Lugia, Ho-Oh, Celebi, Kyogre, Groudon, Rayquaza, Jirachi, Deoxys, Chatot, Dialga, Palkia, Arceus, Giratina, Phione, Manaphy, Darkrai, Shaymin, Victini, Reshiram, Zekrom, Kyurem, Keldeo, Meloetta, or Genesect in the tournament.
