The final chapter from the adaptation of the 16th Pokémon movie, 「神速のゲノセクト ミュウツー覚醒」 ExtremeSpeed Genesect: Mewtwo Awakens has surfaced. The manga is illustrated by Momota Inoue, who also adapted the 13th, 14th, and 15th movies.
On the first page, Genesect's thread is stopping Mewtwo from moving. Mewtwo uses the move Psystrike. Ash's Oshawott uses Water Gun and Feraligatr uses Hydro Pump to help put out the fire that surrounds the Red Genesect. Kirlia, Ralts, Sableye, Geodude, and Graveler help out as well. Persian uses the move Water Pulse. The Genesect Army tries to stop the Red Genesect, but it decides they've become its enemies and starts charging to attack them.
During the battle, Mewtwo says "So you won't understand, no matter what...?!!", and uses Psychic. On the final page, Mewtwo says "Then come with me... To a place where nobody else exists..." and then carries Red Genesect into the sky.
