It was announced that Super Smash Bros. veteran {{OBP|Pikachu|Super Smash Bros.}} will be returning, and the trailer appears to show a new version of the Pokémon Stadium stage present in past titles. However, it is currently unknown whether or not Pikachu will be joined by other characters from the Pokémon franchise.
