The official Pokkén Tournament Twitter account has tweeted that two new characters will be revealed for Pokkén Tournament on Thursday, December 10. There will be a new playable character and a new assist character.
The arcade version of Pokkén Tournament currently has ten playable characters and ten support characters, with Pikachu Libre being added as a playable character in a previous update. Additionally, Shadow Mewtwo was recently announced to be the game's boss, but is not currently playable.
Pokkén Tournament launches for the Wii U on March 18, 2016 in Japan and internationally Spring 2016.
