To commemorate the premiere of the XY series in Hong Kong, Nintendo HK will be distributing Charizard holding a Mega Stone to the first 1000 participants who would answer their short quiz correctly. The quiz will be posted on the Nintendo HK website on July 11, 2014 and will be on the XY series. Only one Charizard will be available per participant. Charizard X will be distributed to players of Pokémon Y, while Charizard Y will be distributed to players of Pokémon X. The event is only applicable to players of the Japanese version and those versions sold in Hong Kong or Taiwan.

To enter the event, participants must log-on to their Facebook accounts and do the following:

  • Send a message to containing the participant's name, the answer to the quiz, and the participant's e-mail address
  • Post ones thought and experience with Pokémon on the event's Facebook page

Only those who follow these steps will be considered for this event. The event will end on July 27 at 23:59.

Winners will be informed through their e-mail, which would also contain instructions on receiving Charizard through the serial code and other Nintendo events.
