The North American and European versions of the games are scheduled to be released this spring. The official Pokémon website has also been updated to reflect this latest news. The site features the new Sugimori artwork of {{p|Chikorita}}, {{p|Cyndaquil}} and {{p|Totodile}}, the games' {{bp|starter Pokémon}}, as well as a trailer for the games. Pokémon HeartGold and SoulSilver will take players back to the {{bp|region}} {{bp|Johto}} and their home {{bp|New Bark Town}}, where they will be given one of three starter Pokémon by {{bp|Professor Elm}} to begin their journey. The Japanese version of HeartGold and SoulSilver will be released on Sept. 12.
