In the fourth and final Japanese omnibus reissue of the Ruby & Sapphire chapter of Pokémon Adventures, an advertisement was included for a forthcoming story arc based on Pokémon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire, the newly released remakes of Pokémon Ruby and Sapphire Versions.
The new story arc, which will be the thirteenth chapter of the Pokémon Adventures manga overall, will debut on January 6 via Shogakukan's digital manga site, Web Sunday. According to the advertisement, the story will involve the murals in Granite Cave and Mega Evolution, both found in the new games; as well as the return of Ruby, Sapphire and Emerald, called upon by Steven Stone for special training.
