The online gaming website Kotaku has revealed that the 3DS game "Pokémon Rumble Blast" (released in Japan as {{bp|Super Pokémon Scramble}}) will be released in North America on October 24th, following its release in Japan on July 28th.
Pokémon Rumble Blast is a sequel to the WiiWare title {{bp|Pokémon Rumble}}, which was released worldwide in 2009. Pokémon Rumble Blast will be the first dedicated Pokémon game for the {{bp|Nintendo 3DS}} (excluding the {{bp|Pokédex 3D}} application). This new game features all current Pokémon, unlike the original game, which only featured Pokémon introduced in {{bp|Generation I}} and {{bp|Generation IV}}. It will also feature wireless co-operative play and use the 3DS's StreetPass feature to allow players to battle other players who have been picked up via StreetPass.
