During today's Nintendo Direct, it was announced that all previous Smash characters will be included in the upcoming game, which will be titled Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. The game will be released on Dec. 7, 2018 and will feature amiibo and Nintendo GameCube controller adapter support. The game will include Pokémon characters such as Pikachu, Pichu, Pokémon Trainer, Jigglypuff, Mewtwo, Lucario, and Greninja. In addition, several other Pokémon have been confirmed to appear as Poké Ball support characters, including Bewear, Solgaleo, and Lunala.
