Once Per Day
This is incorrect. Island Scan can be used whenever you generate 100 Points. I've Island Scanned multiple Pokémon a day, it just normally requires use of special codes or else missing a day and having only 10 points or so left, but a full allotage of QR code scans – easy to finish off a 100pt run and then gather up 90 of the points for the next run, wait a bit, and get the last bit.
