According to Newtype magazine's newest edition, the ninety-third episode of Pocket Monsters Best Wishes!, 「別れと出会いのジュニアカップ！」 The Junior Cup of Farewells and Meetings!, air on Sept. 6.
The episode summary has confirmed that Trip will emerge victorious in the Pokémon World Tournament Junior Cup's finale. As the winner of the tournament, Trip will also get a chance to battle against the Unova League Champion Alder. He will use his Serperior against Alder's Bouffalant.
