Ultra Kalos Classic competition logo

The Ultra Kalos Classic Wi-Fi tournament has been announced. Participants will receive 50 Battle Points. Participants will have to win or lose one battle to receive the Battle Points. Participants may register between midnight UTC on April 19 and 11:59 p.m. UTC on April 26. The competition will run from midnight UTC on April 27 until 11:59 p.m. UTC on April 29. Rankings will be announced some time in May. Players born in 2003 or later will be in the Junior/Senior Division. Players born in 2002 or earlier will be in the Master Division. Junior Division players can only battle between 6 a.m. and 11 p.m. local time.

This competition will use the Single Battles format, where only Pokémon in the Kalos Pokédex may be used. Z-Crystals may not be used. Players may not use regional variants. Ash-Greninja and Mythical Pokémon cannot be used. Mewtwo, Xerneas, Yveltal, and Zygarde also cannot be used. Participants must use the Pokémon Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon games to participate. All Pokémon will be automatically set to level 50. Every player will have a battle timer of 10 minutes. They will have 90 seconds to choose which three Pokémon they will battle with, and 60 seconds to select an attack or switch Pokémon. Participants may battle 15 times a day for a total of 45 battles.
