Welcoming users

We rather prefer to welcome those users who actually make contributions on Bulbanews, that's why some of the users have not been welcomed yet, as you noticed in the rc. So, kindly leave them as it is unless they make a contribution. Thanks! * Pokégeek 14:14, 9 April 2012 (UTC)

Why ? What's the deal with this rule ?--DJWolfy 14:15, 9 April 2012 (UTC)
Unlike Bulbapedia, not a lot of users contribute to Bulbanews. That is one of the reasons why this rule was implemented. Same rule for Archives as well. ♫♪AdyNiz♪♫ 15:47, 9 April 2012 (UTC)
Well I still don't get it why is it forbbiden to welcome someone. Afterall it is a welcoming not a reward.----DJWolfy 17:00, 9 April 2012 (UTC)
Calling it "forbidden" is a bit of a stretch. If it was forbidden, a staff member would have given you a warning. Besides, what is the point of welcoming them if they don't even contribute? Bulbapedia is an encyclopedia while Bulbanews is a news service, there is a big difference. Both have slightly different rules and their own policies. ♫♪AdyNiz♪♫ 17:10, 9 April 2012 (UTC)
Well it still confuses me, but a rule is a rule.----DJWolfy 17:34, 9 April 2012 (UTC)
