World's first Pokémon Blu-Ray releases announced

As first reported by PokemonAus - Magna Pacific, the publisher of all current Pokémon home media in Australia, will be releasing Blu-Ray versions of the 12th and 13th Pokémon feature films. Their release comes amongst a number of other DVD releases including complete season 11 and 12 box sets, the first half of the 13th season and the 13th movie on DVD.

The Blu-Ray releases of these films are the first Pokémon media announced for the format anywhere in the world, including Japan and the United States. It is unknown at this time if Viz intends to publish any Pokémon media on Blu-Ray.
