South Korea is to host a 'Pokémon GO Week' which takes place from September 14 to 26. From September 17 to 25, there will be increased spawns across the whole of South Korea, except in certain unspecified areas, of Pokémon such as Treecko, Mudkip, and Torchic.

From September 21 to 23, in Seoul (excluding the Lotte Department Store and the Lotte World Mall), there will be increased spawns of Pokémon such as Trapinch and Feebas. At the Lotte Department Store and near the Lotte World Mall, players will be able to catch Tropius and Unown.

Players who trade during September 21 to 26 can receive a Pokémon GO "original strap" at the Lotte World Mall. In addition, at the Lotte Department Store and outside Lotte World Mall in Jamsil, Seoul, there will be a Pokémon pop-up store selling merchandise. There will also be a card game school, a stamp rally, and a Pikachu parade.
