Ash fights Noland, the Frontier Brain of the Battle Factory using his Charizard. Was the powerful Fire-type Pokémon able to defeat a legendary bird? Read on for spoilers.

Many fans were expecting Charizard to battle using Blast Burn, but its powerful Fire-type move this round was Overheat, prevously seen used by Ash's Torkoal. It eventually defeated Noland's friend Articuno with its trademark Seismic Toss, and Ash became the winner of the Knowledge Symbol.
