Forum-based contest to offer many prizes

Bulbagarden is once again sponsoring a series of Christmas contests which will provide the winners with excellent prizes. In addition, a forum has been created specifically for the Christmas Contest: "A Pidgey in an Aspear Tree." Seven contests will be held, spanning a variety of topics:
- Fanfiction
- Fanart
- Competitive battling
- Trading Card Game
- Fake Pokémon creation
- Forum skin contest
- Daily giveaway prize
A number of preorder copies of the English versions of Pokémon HeartGold and SoulSilver, due out this coming spring, will be available as top prizes. A full list of available prizes, along with a description of each contest, is available on the forums. Archaic, owner of Bulbagarden, said of this year's Christmas Contest: "We're hoping to follow up on the success of last year's contest. We're expecting another round of excellent entries, and we're looking forward to being able to again give away hundreds of dollars in prizes to Pokémon fans from all around the world."
