The Pokémon Company have announced their plans for Jump Festa 2015. Jump Festa 2015 will be held from Dec. 20 to 21, 2014. All mentioned features will be at the Pokémon Omega Ruby Alpha Sapphire Battle Streak Corner.
A Linoone will be distributed at the event. It will have the moves Extreme Speed, Helping Hand, Baby-Doll Eyes and Protect, hold the Focus Sash, be at level 50, and be in a Cherish Ball. It can at least sometimes be male. It can only be obtained using Pokémon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire.
Several voice actors and other media personalities will be at the Pokémon Omega Ruby Alpha Sapphire Battle Streak Corner. These include Ayana Tsubaki, a Japanese TV personality and model; Nobuhiko Okamoto, a Japanese voice actor and singer (although he has not performed in the Pokémon anime); Aoi Yūki, Iris's voice actor; Emi Nitta, a Japanese voice actor (although she has not performed in the Pokémon anime); Shouta Aoi, a Japanese voice actor and singer (although he has not performed in the Pokémon anime); and Megumi Han, Katharine's voice actor. More guests are still to be announced, and individual guests will only be around at certain times.
At the Pokémon Omega Ruby Alpha Sapphire Battle Streak Corner, visitors can receive prizes by amassing wins in a competition using Pokémon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire. Participants must have a Latias or Latios in their party. The Linoone being distributed at the event can be used in the competition, and is said to have a good moveset for supporting Latias or Latios. The competition runs from 9 am to 4:30 pm and will be in Double Battle format.
All participants will receive a gift of 1 PP Max. For every win, they will receive 1 PP Up. For every streak of three wins, they will receive a Battle the Guests! raffle ticket. The player with the highest win streak at 2 pm will receive entry into the tournament finals and a choice of Groudon or Kyogre Pokémon Center-exclusive New Nintendo 3DS faceplates (the player must participate on-stage to receive this prize).
For the final battles, the player with the highest win streak in the Battle Streak Corner will face off against three of the special guests in a single-elimination 4-person tournament. Two of the special guests will battle each other, and the player will battle the other special guest. The winners of these two matches will then battle each other for the final.
Participants in the Battle Streak Corner with Battle the Guests! raffle tickets can also win the chance to battle one of the guests on-stage. This runs independently of the finals.
